From the Pitch to the Pool: Sport Methodology LAB Begins Adapting Its Model with Natación Getxo

The Kirol Metodologi LAB (KML) demonstrates once again the versatility of its project. After working with team and contact sports, this week the team held a new working session with Natación Getxo, focusing on building the first steps of their sports methodology.
A Model Tailored for the Pool
During the meeting, the team began to define the base structure of the specific methodological model for swimming. Unlike field sports, this discipline requires a highly specialized approach. To achieve this, they are working on:
- Reality analysis: Gaining an in-depth understanding of the club's current context and resources.
- Formative criteria: Establishing the initial guidelines that will direct the development of swimmers across their different evolutionary stages.
- Environment adaptation: Translating general methodological concepts to the reality of in-water training.
This session marks the official start of the methodological adaptation process. With this new advancement, the Kirol Metodologi LAB continues to accompany clubs in building their own, non-imposed models, providing Natación Getxo with a clear, coherent tool aligned with its organizational needs.
