Sports Methodology LAB promotes international connection with LaLiga and Saudi football

The Sports Methodology LAB is gaining strength internationally thanks to its collaboration with IMG and the projects created over the years by Kimet and the organizations linked to LAB. An example of this was the visit yesterday by one of the most important football clubs in Saudi Arabia, Al-Qadsiah FC, to our facilities.
On a very special day, Sports Methodology LAB received the top sports managers of the Basque football teams, the head of sports project management of the Saudi club and the international sports management experts of the IMG.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Royal Society, Deportivo Alavés and SD Eibar, as well as Saud Al-Amri, Director of Operations of Al-Qadsiah FC, and Guillermo García, IMG representative. All of them met to exchange knowledge, discuss methodological innovations, and explore possible future collaborations.
On that day, our LAB Director informed all attendees of the Sports Methodology LAB and all the opportunities it offers to clubs and organizations around us, as well as its potential for international projection. The clubs, on the other hand, showed their sports projects in which our Basque DNA stands out, although each one works with its own personality, structure and style.
The LAB day ended with a reflection between officials of the Basque Football Federation, Getxo Kirolak and the Basque Government, club leaders, Saudi guest and IMG representative.
On the agenda of the day we also visited the Basque Team, where we were able to share our vision and learn about the different models to boost the high performance of the Basque Country and the development of elite sport, together with Jon Iriberri, director of School Sport.
This type of meeting helps to consolidate the LAB Sports Methodology as a reference space in sports methodology, capable of bringing clubs, organizations and working models together internationally.
From Sports Methodology LAB we would especially like to thank Carlos Antoñán and José Manuel Sevillano, on the part of Deportivo Alavés; Alfonso Azurza and Jon Mikel Arrieta, on behalf of the Royal Society; Raúl del Pozo, on behalf of SD Eibar; Gorka Zabala, on behalf of Getxo Kirolak; Iker Goñi and Ibon Cabo, on behalf of the Basque Football Federation; Saud Al-Amri on behalf of Al-Qadsiah FC; and Guillermo Garcia on behalf of IMG for sharing this day with us.
