Sport Methodology LAB, meeting point of the International Swimming Congress in Getxo

Getxo hosted a new edition of the International Swimming Congress this weekend, which brought together professionals, technicians and specialists in the sector at days on knowledge, training and exchange of experiences.

Sport Methodology LAB has been actively involved in this meeting, becoming one of the spaces associated with the development of the congress, hosting various meetings among the attendees.

One of the main milestones of the weekend was the presentation of the Getxo Swimming Method & Tech project, a proposal to further advance the teaching and training of swimming in metodologization. The project aims to structure and organize the training process, establish common objectives and content and facilitate the monitoring of the evolution of swimmers.

Over the weekend, Luis Llopis also visited Sport Methodology LAB. An opportunity to show firsthand the work done in our facilities and to share experiences around methodology, training and sports performance.

These have been intense but also particularly enriching days in which we have been able to share knowledge, learn new perspectives and continue to create collaborative spaces around sport.
